  Aerodrome : A defined area intended to be used for the arrival, departure and surface movement of aircraft.  
  Aircraft Stand : A designated part of an apron intended to park an aircraft.

  Apron :

A defined area intended to accommodate aircraft for the purpose of unloading or loading passengers, cargo, mail, parking or maintenance.

 
  Bird Strike : A collision between an aircraft and bird.  
  Clearway : A defined area on the ground over which an aircraft may take a portion of its initial climb up to a specified height.  
  JHB : IATA code for Senai Airport.

  Movement Area :

That part of an aerodrome to be used for take-off, landing and taxiing of aircraft, consisting of the manoeuvring area and aprons.

  Touchdown Zone : That portion of a runway, beyond the threshold, where it is intended landing aeroplanes first contact the runway.  
  Turnaround : The time from an aircraft lands until it takes off again, not including during overnight parking.
